We negotiate to buy goods in a cheaper price, we negotiate with our future in-laws before getting married with our beloved. We negotiate almost for everything and every day. But, do we know how to negotiate in a right way?
This 2-days session monitored by Mr. Hisham was a chaotic session. First, we learned about the theories of BATNA, ZOPA, reservation price, and creation value. Then, we were divided into 6 groups. We were asked to act for several cases and conditions. Since my class mate were very supportive, this session had become very exciting. My group had been given the task to act as Amir, Ziana’s boss who reluctant to give Ziana holiday. It really showed the way we negotiate; full with feelings and emotions. A good negotiator will think effectively and will never let his emotion overwhelm the situation. One of the best negotiators in business world is Donald Trump. In another activity, we; Ain Tamsir and I had created a situation that involved negotiation. It was about Nobita and Giant. Sound childish, eh? XD
Mr Hisham’s class will never fail to make you laugh. I suffered from stomachache that night due to excessive laughing. keke. These two days session were exciting and beneficial though. And somehow, I am grateful I was there. :)
